DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ST. LUKE 22:46

(46)  And said unto them,  Why sleep ye?  rise and pray,  lest ye enter into temptation.

RISE AND PRAY!

Grace be unto you!  The weapons of our warfares are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of stronghold. cf. II Cor. 10:4;  therefore, when we find ourselves entangled within the web of the enemy, it is time to pray fervently, to pray fervently, is to passionately, with the intensity of spirits, knock on the door of mercy, for a divine intervention of Jesus Christ, to deliver, and end our predicaments.

Prayer, is a practice by believers to unlocking the door of mercies from Jesus Christ; for attaining help to overcome the struggles we face on daily basis;  therefore, never let a day goes by without praying to him, no matter how busy our schedules are, it is an important factor, to encorporate a prayer time into daily schedules;  whenever we pray, our petitions are not in vain, but are noted by the holy fold, whether it is a short or long prayers, they are taken into consideration in due time, to send forth the assistance needed from Jesus, the divine intervention for our situations; a prayer is like a firing rocket, which shots forth from our mouths directly to the throne of mercy and grace, to relieve the burdens off our shoulders, when overwhelmed with struggles of life; therefore, let's not forget to pray without ceasing, cf. I Thessalonians 5:17;  pray, for it is a weapon for our warfares.

Jesus started his ministry in the wilderness with a forty days fasting and prayers, regardless, the enemy tempted him, cf. Matthew 4:1-11; during his last hours on the earth, he prayed fervently in the garden of Eden to overcome his forthcoming dilemma of crucifixion, though he went into the garden of Gethsemane with his three disciples, Peter, John, and James to support with prayers, while he prayed, they couldn't vigil with him, but dozed off to sleep;  he repeatedly said unto them, why, sleep ye?  rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptations;  therefore, referring to the advice of Jesus unto his three disciples, we are to pray, to avoid the unforeseen traps of the devil;  notably, we do not pray to receive answers to our petitions alone, but we also pray to discern evil works, overcome the enemy temptations, walk in the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Beloved,  just a friendly reminder to ourselves; forget not, that prayer works miracles, get down on our knees on daily basis, pray to God, through the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  Let us love one another as ourselves!  Jesus is coming back again soon!  Peace be unto you!  Amen and Amen!

WORD OF WISDOM:

(KJV.)  Proverbs 15:8  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD:  but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
