(KJV.) ST. MATTHEW 3:11-12
(11) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
(12) Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Brethren, each and every moment of our lives, prophecies of our Father are unfolding in this world; therefore, whenever we receive his words, whether through prophecies of seers, our own dreams, or visions, let us not take things for granted, but pray about what was revealed, whether negatives or positives, for, if they are his revelations and not that from the enemy of our souls, they will surely come to pass at appointed times.
In the above chapter of the text, John the baptist prophesied in the wilderness of Judea, saying; (i) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance; hold right there! Let us analyze the Water baptism, that is, when we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior, and subsequently, enter into the baptism water, in the essence, we repented of our sins, and the water washes away the corroded burdens upon our hearts, the sense of guiltiness and unworthiness are done with by the blood of Jesus Christ, we receive the newness of lives through his blood, and are born again: cf. Acts 19:1-6; (ii) but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: the baptism of the Holy Ghost prophesied by John the baptist, was also promised by Jesus Christ unto his believers, cf. John 14:26; and it was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, while the disciples were in one accord in the upper room, Acts 2:1-4; (iii) and with fire: we can all testify that when the Holy Spirit anointings comes upon us, the sense of fires, penetrates into our innermost spirits, this is the manifestations of his fires; therefore, let us not ignore these three baptisms, water, spirit, and of fire, but seek to acknowledge them into our lives.
John the baptist, prophesied of the mission of Jesus Christ, saying, "Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, gather his wheat into the garner, burn up the chaff with the unquenchable fire."; though Jesus Christ's mission on earth was successfully completed to save the world of iniquities, this part of John's prophecies is pending to be fulfilled; therefore, preachers all over the world, jingle the gospel bells, for souls to hear, come to repentance, receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and have salvation, grace, and eternal lives, for the kingdom of our Father is at hand; Jesus himself preached the same words of our Father, cf. Matthew 4:17; commissioned his disciples with the same words, cf. Matthew 10:7; after his resurrection, he appeared unto the eleven disciples, commanded them with the same words, cf. Mark 16:14-20; Matthew 28:19-20; therefore, it our time to preach of his second coming into this world to receive his believers into the eternal life.
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
(KJV.) Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
