(KJV.) I CORINTHIANS 3:13-15
(13) Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
(14) If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
(15) If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
THE QUALITY ASSURANCE
Brethren, whatever our gifts and talents are in this world, let us not lay back, but work the works of the Lord; for there will be a day of accountability; the day of judgment, when everyone will account for their works while on earth; whether good or evil works, all works will be tested by fire to discern what they were: therefore, let us make sure that we are doing our best in whatever we do in this world for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Many times, we think of our services rendered in the house of our Father, the goodwill did to people in needy situations as the only good works, that is inaccurate in this aspect! we are all in this world as branches of the tree of eternity; each and every soul has their own gifts and talents to perform in this world; whether born or free likewise; some people use their gifts negatively, while others use theirs positively; regardless of which manners we utilize our gifts and talents, at the end of our lives, when everyone will appear before the judgment seat, we will account for our works on earth, cf. Matthew 25: therefore, let us not strive to compete with others; their gifts may not be the same as ours, what we need to do, is to focus entirely on our own gifts, talents, polish and utilize them to their maximum capabilities, that other people may benefit from our works: you see! if we are gifted in performing a task exceptionally than others, we do not need extra efforts to perfect ourselves with our gifts, as we utilize them to serve others, the gifts sharpen themselves: however, if we bury our gifts, seek to learn other people's gifts and talents; trying to prove that we are also capable of working wonders in wrong careers: at times, there will be challenges on our pathways, to function perfectly among people who are naturally gifted by Jesus Christ and are working their own salvation to receive earthly and eternal blessings.
Therefore, whatever we do in this world, let us know that our works will be tested with fire for quality assurance, to reveal what types of deeds were involved in our services on earth; whether our services rendered to the glorification of Jesus Christ or to Baalim; if our works are proven by Jesus Christ as fruitful works, then, we will receive greater rewards, crown of glories, and be joint heirs with him in eternity; however, if our works are proven worthless, burn up in the testing fires, we will not receive any rewards, but we will still, have eternal lives, because we made necessary efforts to do his works; regardless, everyone's works will be tested by fire to discern their quality assurance; therefore, my friends, if Jesus Christ should test our works today, what will be our rewards? would our rewards be that of golds, silvers or of woods? no one can tell yet, but we can do something about our works now, while we are still alive on earth: let us take a little faith quiz; ask ourselves the following questions; (i) are we loving one another as we love ourselves? (ii) are we serving Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior wholeheartedly as we serve one another in this world? (iii) are we exemplifying ourselves him, in all our undertakings?; believers, we do not have to score perfect marks, no one is totaling our works on earth; except Jesus Christ, who has the authority to judge our works from the heavenly perspectives, and rewards accordingly; however, certain times, we need to review ourselves, to discern what our shortcomings may be, if there are any at all; in other to align ourselves rightfully in his perspectives.
Dearly beloved, the point is, to let our lights shine before men, that they may see our good works, and glorify our Father which is in heaven." cf. Matthew 5:16: therefore, whatever we do in this world, let us do them all diligently, faithfully, and with joyfulness of hearts, to glorify Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, know that there are angelic eyes watching over our works, whether in secular environments or faith establishments, good or bad works, all the works that we do, will be tested by fire someday in heavenly places; I pray that our works do not burn into ashes before the throne of grace; therefore, let us remember now our Creator in the days of our youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when we will say, I have no pleasure in doing anything. cf. Eccl. 12:1; let us work the good works now, while we have the strengths, zeal to serve Jesus Christ with fear and tremblings, have and enjoy the rewards of peace, happiness and joy forever and evermore. Amen and Amen!
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
(KJV.) I Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
