(KJV.) ROMANS 13:1-4
(1) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
(2) Whosoever, therefore, resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
(3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
(4) For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
THE THRESHOLD OF FAITH
Brethren, from the heavens unto the earth, whether we realize it or not, Jesus Christ is in control of all things; as humans, we live in this world, but we do not owe the world, its contents, nor ourselves; therefore, let us humble ourselves before our Father, allow him to do his will, through us, among us, within his creation; however, many times, directly or indirectly, we rebel against our creator, by not discerning his ways, yield to his will; this should not be so for believers, let us not have doubts in this world, rather perceive all circumstances through the spiritual lenses of Jesus Christ, whether good or evil works, trust in him; for King Solomon wrote, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.
The above text speaks of total submission to our Father's authority on earth; in other to understand him, we have to realize that, the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. cf. Psalm 24:1; therefore, if he owns the entire world, including the people, then he has the rights to engineers things of his jurisdiction, do whatever needed to be done, to suit his intended purposes in heaven or on earth: with that in mind, can we tell him what to do within his own creation? Wrong! let us ponder on these things! one thing to realize for sure is, that our Father is always for his people, his love is enormous towards them, everything he does, is to the benefit humanity, therefore, he wills and deals on their behalves, to make sure that his intended purposes manifest on earth; there are times, when we may not fully understand, or agree to his purposes for our lives, regardless, let us not rebel, rather trust him, submit ourselves, accept his will for our lives, as Jesus Christ submitted to his will, even unto death on the cross, allow his will be done in human lives, inherit great rewards and eternal lives.
Life is not an easy journey; at certain times of our lives, there will be roughness, unforeseen bumpy rocky thresholds to overcome; regardless of our failures, there is hope in Jesus Christ, to overcome whatever we categorise as failures, there are no failures in him, that is for sure, let us trust in him, for he takes the broken pieces of our lives, piece them back together again, that the world may perceive his manifestations, and give him all glory, whether we realise what he does in our lives or not, Jesus is in the center of our lives, working all things together for positive end results; if we have fallen down abruptly, whiles on the journeys of faith, let us be encouraged to rise up, shake up ourselves, march forward in the strength of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, for he is by our sides, holding our hands, leading the pathways to final destinations of our lives. Always have faith in him! Amen and Amen!
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
(KJV.) Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
