(KJV.) MATTHEW 8:25-27
(25) And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
(26) And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
(27) But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
WHY ARE YE FEARFUL?
In reference to previous verses of today's text; Jesus was in the ship with his disciples, there arose a great tempest in the sea, the storm was so rigid that the ship was covered with waves; but Jesus was asleep; if we believe in Jesus, and we know that he is the ruler of both heaven and earth; regardless of what storms may prevail against our souls, they will not prevail, because Jesus is with us; and we trust in him as Lord and Savior, therefore he will surely deliver that no storm can destroy our lives; though it may seem like he is sleeping, he is not, but in perfect control of our situations; his disciple came and awoke him; saying, "Lord, save us we perish."; the disciples alert, their master for help; therefore, if we are in any storms of life, the only answer is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, let us call upon him, he will surely answer, calm our storms, deliver our souls and grant peace: Jesus said unto his disciples, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?; therefore, let us have faith when we call on Jesus Christ, with him, all things are possible, without faith it is impossible to please him; let us not fear or be dismayed in trouble times; but rather pray, exercise our faith in sufferings, persevere with prayers, without waverings in faith: Jesus arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm: therefore, faith goes hand in hand with prayers, we cannot have faith, sit back and expect faith to manifest, we have to exercise our faith with prayers, activate seeds of faith within our innermost spirits and declare things into existence.
Jesus arose and rebuke the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm: but the people marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!; the manner of man we know is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior of the world; the life force of all creation, who rules and reigns the heavens and earth forevermore; without him, we can do nothing; therefore, regardless of what may be our storms of today; have faith in him, pray fervently, rest peacefully in him and watch him deliver our souls by his sacred blood that never fails, but endures forevermore.
CONCLUSION:
Dearly beloved, regardless of what maybe our storms today, Jesus has already taken control, we are overcomers by his blood shed on cross of Calvary; though storms may come our ways to pester with our souls, let us not be down stricken by its forceful winds, but rather anchor ourselves to the cross of Jesus Christ, plea his mercies upon our lives, read and pray his words, have enormous faith that he has taken absolute control of all issues, put on a happy face that the devil will be put to shame on our behalves forever and evermore: what Jesus is saying to troubles souls today is, "I want to calm your storms, let me into your hearts I will make all things new with salvation, free grace, peace, hope and life everlasting:" therefore, let us come unto him, before it is too late, and we fly away into unknown oblivion of spirits. Amen and Amen!
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
(KJV.) Matthew 6:30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the filed, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
