DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  HEBREWS 12:5-8

(5)  And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children,  My son,  despise not thou the chastening of the Lord,  nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
(6)  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
(7)  If ye endure chastening,  God dealeth with you as with sons;  for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
(8)  But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

OUTCH; IT HURTS!

Brethren, after we might have been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and sanctified by the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit;  let us not backslide into sinful attributes of our old selves;  instead, remain steadfastly with faith in his righteousness, have patience and wait for his promises to be fulfilled, do his will that we may receive covenanted blessings by his grace.

However, in other to remain steadfast in his love, without wavering in between past attributes and godly attributes of our Father;  at times, our Father chastens believers when they stray from him, to bring them into proper alignments within his righteousness;  first of all, what is chasten?  to chasten, is to render punishment on a person, to bring about improvement in their behaviors, characters and attitudes; to punish, reprimand, disciple, humble and purify our souls in his righteousness; at certain points of our lives, physically or spiritually, we have been chasten by parents. masters of terrorisms or our heavenly Father;  many times, we receive chastisements because we are out of control, but loved and highly favored by authorities; who would not allow their beloved children lives destroyed; when we portray disrespectful, arrogance and prideful attributes; we open doors of our souls to the enemy and walk in ungodliness;  he comes into our lives, controls our movements, interrogates and punishes, and eventually destroy our lives;  therefore, we receive chastisements from parents and heavenly authorities to awaken our souls to drop of those behaviors, and grow up with godly traits into everlasting life.

Regardless, chastening is chastening; and it hurts, whether we receive them physically from mortal parents, or spiritually from hands of our heavenly Father; chasten is a process that will touch souls spiritually and emotionally;  remember, the enemy infiltrates mind and hearts with his demonic spirits to derail souls from righteousness into unrighteousness;  therefore, chastens awakens our thought processes and innermost spirits, to release those negative traits and attributes out of our innermost spirits and to receive red flags of good behaviors into our spirits, not to allow ungodly sinful natures to reign supreme in our hearts.

Therefore, let us not despise hands of chastisements of our Father; for loves his children dearly and would not allow them to fall into damnations;  many times, he chastises them to bring them out of ungodliness into his righteousness;  therefore, when in sufferings, let us pray, for discernments to know reasons behind our sufferings, lessons to be learned from our sufferings, so we may learn them faster and graduate out of our predicaments into higher levels of our destines,  when hands of chastisements of Father are upon our lives, until we get his point and understand his will and refrain from reasons behind our chastisements, humble ourselves in his presence, pray, give him the glory through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; be pacified with his unfailing love, goodness and mercies that endures forevermore; we will continue to be trained harshly over and over again.

Case in point, King David slept with Beshe-Bath Uriah the Hittite's wife whiles he was at war and impregnated her; he schemed to set him in the war front, withdraw help away from him, had him killed with the sword of the Ammonites and possess his wife. (2 Samuel 11-12);  this is an atrocity; though our Father loved King David dearly, he did not overlook his sins entirely, but sent Nathan the prophet to pronounce judgment upon him;  however, when David repented of his wrong doings, fasted, prayed for the life of the child, the child died still but he was forgiven;  however, before he died, him and his household received persecutions through his own rebellious Son Absalom:  let us be careful, there is nothing hidden before our Father;  it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of our Father. (Hebrews 10:31);  let us be on the lookout for temptations of the enemy, pray for powers to overcome his lies and deceitfulness, but rather allow the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to guide our footsteps in his righteousness;  if we should trespass against our Father, for we are all trespassers on this earth, because we are already saved by the sacred blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, our past, present and future sins are forgiven and our souls are precious in his eyes, let us feel remorse for wrong doings, humble ourselves before him, receive his mercies and continue to dwell in the sacred blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, if we resist the hands of chastisements; we will grow up with behaviors of bastards children;  this is reality, even in the physical world, if we love our children dearly, and overlook their sinful behaviors in their youthful years, when they grow up, we will see the fruits of our parentings, good or bad;  therefore, let us bring up our children with the fear of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, teach and train them in godliness, alert them when they do wrong, chastise if possible but in moderations, set rules to guide them with love and righteousness, awaken up their spirits to wrongful choices and behaviors; counsel them about consequences that they may face in later years through choices they make in present times:  for it is written in Proverbs 19:18: "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for crying.";  that is what our Father does to his beloved children, he chastens them when we do wrong or go astray from his righteousness into ungodliness, to bring them back unto himself again, because he loves them dearly;  beware!  if he does not love us or care about our souls, he will not endeavor to bring us back unto himself when we stray from him;  therefore, if we are being chasten by our Father today;  let us submit ourselves unto him with spirit of humility, pray, praise, know that he loves us dearly, learn whatever lessons we need to learn from our mistakes and dwell in his righteousness forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
