DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  LUKE 13:24-27

(24)  Strive to enter in at the strait gate:  for many,  I say unto you,  will seek to enter in,  and shall not be able.
(25)  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door,  saying,  Lord, Lord, open unto us;  and he shall answer and say unto you,  I know you not whence ye are:
(26)  Then shall ye begin to say,  We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
(27)  But he shall say,  I tell you,  I know you not whence ye are;  depart from me,  all ye workers of iniquity.

WHICH TERMINAL IS OUR FLIGHT?

Brethren, as humanity, we see what our eyes desires to see, do what our thought processes directs our hearts to do in this fallen world, but without the input of the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit, as a result, many times, we make wrongful decisions for either ourselves or other people;  whenever there are difficult choices to make in life, same ways, we tend to take the easier way out of difficult decision making and eventually worsen up situations;  at times, it is better to prefer the most difficult way of resolving issues, seek help from our Father through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to grant us wisdom, knowledge and understandings of bottom lines of all matters, guide our thought processes to make rightful decisions, strengthen our souls with powers from on high to overcome all obstacles, blockages and hindrances of the enemy and successfully accomplish our goals in life.

In the above text;  Jesus went through cities and villages, ministering the Kingdom message, one of his disciples said unto him, only small amount of people are saved?  Jesus answered,  (i)  Strive to enter in at the strait gate;  therefore, when it comes to salvation, let us make wise choices between what is right and wrong pathways in life;  for example, if we have the choice to follow unbelievers to walk in ungodliness, vice versa, to attend praise and worship services in the house of our Father; what will we choose?  as believers, I suppose we will do what Jesus will do!  Jesus will prefer to go into the house of our Father, minister, praise and worship him;  however, on fleshly reasoning, the former choice would be more enjoyable than the latter choice, but it depends on how we look at both offers;  if we choose the former offer, we may party our hearts out all night with unbelievers, come back home drunk with alcohol and torment our souls throughout the night; in that case, we yield our souls to dictates of fleshly desires of darkness of this world;  if we choose the latter offer, go to the house of our Father, praise and worship him, in the beauty of his holiness; our souls will receive spiritual nourishments from the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit, be filled with innermost contentment of joy and peace everlasting, earthly and eternal blessings will follow forevermore;  for it is written in book of Matthew 6:33: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.";  also, when we return back home from worshiping our Father, his peace will come upon our souls, the Holy Spirit manifests himself in our dreams and visions, reveal secrets things of the spirit, sanctify, empower, transform and strengthen our souls to continue to walk in his righteousness into eternity;  the choice is ours to make;  if we choose rightful pathways of our Father, we will inherit the kingdom of heaven with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore.

Jesus concluded his statement by saying;  (ii)  for many,  I say unto you,  will seek to enter in,  and shall not be able. Why?;  the enemy of our souls, infiltrate minds of souls to take easy ways out of every decision makings processes; the doorways to salvation is open to all, but not all souls desire to enter into the door, with thought processes that it is not enjoyable to be a believer, there are too many restrictions in the faith of the righteousness of our Father;  this is incorrect!;  truthfulness of matters are, when we become saved, we enter into the lights of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and darkness cannot comprehend the light; through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit, all things of darkness falls away from our souls; our fleshly desires change, we become more spiritual as our souls transform into images of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; the Holy Spirit guides our pathways with his teachings, counsels and reproves in his righteousness, there are no manmade rules and regulations to follow in the faith of his righteousness, his words written down in the scriptures are what believers ought to live by in this world of darkness;  but, because of worldly possessions and fleshly desires of this fallen world;  many souls desires to become believers but resist themselves from entering into the light of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, have salvation and eternity;  for example, Jesus was at the coast of Judea beyond Jordan; he ministered words of our Father unto the multitude;  a young man said unto him; "All these things have I kept from my youth up; what lack I yet?;  Jesus, said unto him; If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful:  for he had great possessions." (Matthew 19:);  what happened in this narrative?  the young man made a wrong choice, he chose the wider pathway with his earthly possessions, which leads into damnation; for he will not be able to enter into the strait gate which is more narrower to enter because of his earthly possessions, therefore, he went home sorrowful; for he chose Hades damnation over eternity;  therefore, let us make wise choices when it comes to salvation, choices we make while on this earth, determines if we are on rightful pathways into life everlasting.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, it is difficult to live godly lives in this lustful world of darkness;  but we can do all things through Christ our strength and redeemer;  as believers, our goal is to enter into the strait gate into the presence of our Father, stay in the faith of his righteousness into eternity;  there are few weeks before this year is over; it is time to sit back with pens and papers for notes and check marks, pray to invite the Holy Spirit's presence, rule out things that we have achieved successfully this year by the grace of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; give thanks to our Father, make newer agendas for the coming year, pray for his grace to do that which pleases him at all times; and focus on eternity, and all other blessings will follow forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Matthew 7:13-14:  Enter ye in at the strait gate:  for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
