DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  LUKE 17:3-4

(3)  Take heed to yourselves:  If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him;  and if he repent,  forgive him.
(4)  And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying,  I repent;  thou shalt forgive him.

MUST DO!

Brethren, let us take in to consideration the above words of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; this is an important counsel to humanity on issues of our hearts; as we live together on planet earth, we are to interact with one another everyday with love of our Father;  however, through our interactions in this world, at times, knowingly or unknowingly, we step on toes, as a result, offenses will enter into our innermost spirits;  however, no matter how the offenses come upon our hearts; the remedies to relieve burdens of offenses off our hearts are to forgive offenders and forget offenses; for humanity in general, are offenders in the eyes of our Father, for we offend him with our actions and behaviors at all times;  for it is written in the book of Matthew 6:15: "But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses."; therefore, let us endeavor to forgive one another's offenses and live peaceably with all men.

Case in point, after birth, for some reasons, souls get offended and cry out right after they come out of their natural incubators into the darkness of this world; and King Solomon said, it is better the day of death than the day of one's birth. (Ecclesiastes 7:1);  therefore, offenses are parts of humanity; we cannot live together peacefully on this earth, without stepping on toes, or bumping against one another, this is impossible!; therefore, we have to interact with one another at all cost, and cannot isolate ourselves, live in bubble shells without associating with other people; for, our Father created all things to work together in love, peace and harmony, the main foundation of this world is based on his love; he is the main source of love and does everything out of love, and expect his children to love one another with the same love; however, the enemy knows exactly how happy our Father is, when we walk in love, are united and live peaceably with one another; therefore, his main goal is to bring division among the earth, sisters against sisters, brothers against brothers, nations against nations, even in houses of parliaments, where politicians are supposed to reason themselves for the benefit of their own people and smooth running of their nations; there are divisions, words of warfare against one another, in matrimonial homes the enemy devises evil to bring separations and divorces, in the secular world, spirit of strive, envy, hatred, arrogance and pride has taken control of hearts of humanity, directly or indirectly they compete against one another and have lost focus on what matters most, salvation and life everlasting, that which only Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior can offer them; however, there is a common enemy working behind the scenes to cause havoc on earth, to make undesirable things and circumstances desirable to humanity, so they can continue to strive for things of this world, disagree with one another, have animosities, bear grudges, and break the chains of love and forgiveness of our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior: beware of what is going on in this generation: Jesus Christ is coming back soon!  forgive one another, walk in love, be prepared to meet him in the skies and live with him forevermore.

In the above text of the scriptures, Jesus Christ addressed the issue of forgiveness to his disciples, saying, If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him; but to rebuke someone is to criticize harshly, however, as believers, we can gently tell our offenders how we feel about whatever was said or done against us, without spirits of vexations, but with love and forgiving hearts; since we are all sinners and we sin at all times, so when we sin against our heavenly Father, he will also have mercy and overlook our sins; not only that, but when we forgive our offenders, we set our hearts free from burdens of yokes placed upon our hearts; at times, when we open up to our offenders, let them know how we feel about things, they may or may not accept their faults, and may or may not offer apologies for what transpired, but will defend themselves arrogantly, it does not matter how they assimilate our words, we still have to forgive them, pray about the burdens to be removed out of our hearts, give them all to Jesus Christ, he already taken care of our burdens on the cross by his death and resurrection, so we may have restful lives in his righteousness;  at times, our offenders would realize their own faults and offer apologies, that is more Christlike; Jesus said, it does not matter how many times, offenders say am sorry; we have to accept their apologies, forgive them, renew relationship with one another, bond again the chains of love and allow the Holy Spirit to take absolute control of our hearts in the presence of our Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, forgive is a "must do" word in believers dictionary; not only do we have to forgive our offenders, but love them as we love ourselves; if we forgive our offenders, we set them free from our hearts, and we intend set ourselves free from the bondage of the enemy, so long as we hold grudges against one another the enemy wins battles over our souls; at times, after the enemy create havoc among love ones, he will use their negative reactions to what his commotions were to challenge our Father on his throne of grace, that his beloved children have enmities and grudges against one another, and are not in one accord and are not trustworthy of his blessings; see how the enemy is very dubious and crafty in all his ways, beware of him; he is working around the clock, looking for whom he may devour, let us not fall preys to his detrimental ways; as we live together on planet earth, we will step on one another's toes, knowingly or unknowingly; however, let us not look for ways to be offended, allow him to infiltrate our thought processes against one another, but give peace a chance, have benefit of the doubts in all situations, positively or negatively, allow Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, in the middle of our thought processes; if we feel offended by deeds of other people, let us bear fruits of forgiveness; let go of one another's trespasses as many times as they trespasses against us; for it is written in book of Matthew 18:22; "Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee,  Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.;  so we need to continue to forgive one another regardless of how many times we feel offended by them;  this is also an issue of our hearts; spirit of Jesus Christ lives within our hearts, let us set our hearts free from all worldly contamination, that the Holy Spirit may richly dwell in our hearts, to guide our ways in his righteousness forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
