DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  PROVERBS 19:17

(17)  He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD;  and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

ISSUES OF OUR HEARTS II!

Brethren, whenever we show kindness to desperate people, make them feel comfortable, loved and accepted by society, our kind gestures towards them are not done in vain, all gracious attitudes are recorded against our names in the heavens book of records;  regardless of what type of goodwill we extend to other people, whether we do goodwill in forms of liquid papers, meals, shelters or clothing; our generosities goes directly to our Father, and his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; and he will repay us back again with multiple blessings from on high:  what an awesome Father!; reference, book of Matthew 25:35-40.

As we all know, when our Father speaks his words, he sanctions, fulfills whatever he declares; he is not  a liar, whatever he says he will do, he does; we read in the scriptures of how he interacted with his servants, prophets and beloved children in past generations; he never changes his words, as other people conceive that times has changed on earth, technologies are advancing, therefore, our Father compromised his statutes;  no, not so brethren!;  whatever, our Father planned to do, he did already through the sufferings, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to make things easier for humanity to approach the throne of grace, walk in his righteousness into eternity: our Father never compromised himself, he is the same Father of yesterday, today and forevermore shall be;  therefore, let us take his words seriously act upon them, for the sake of his obedience and watch him bring to pass promises of his words.

Our Father is not a respecter of man; from generations to generations, he looks upon the hearts of children of men, searches for hearts that are pure before him;  for example, it was the heart issue that made Abel's offerings acceptable before him, but Cain's offerings was rejected; why, because he was selfish and put his desires first over his generosity to honor our Father, he did not offer the best of his handiwork to him, his offerings was rejected by our Father;  therefore, whatever we do, let us do all things carefully with our Father in our thoughts; do our best for him, ask ourselves, in all situations, what will Jesus do?, and do the same things;  it is not what we have in mind to do, or do that pleases our Father, it is how we feel about what we have to do, or do; that matters to him most; therefore, our hearts, thoughts and motions are very important when it comes to dealing with our Father; let us be mindful of things of our Father, wholeheartedly through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

At times, we think about ourselves first, before we think about the welfare of other people, but, that is wrong motives; we ought to place other people first in all circumstances, and place ourselves as secondaries;  if we serve other people by serving our Father, then it is appropriate to serve them first, for we serve our Father first when we do so: another example of the heart issue was between Jacob and Esau;  Esau was a cunning hunter, he woke up in the mornings, and went to the field to hunt for animals, he did not care to serve other people, but cared about his own desires, what he will kill and eat, and wanted to be served by his brother Jacob; on the other hand, Jacob was a plain man, lived in tents, serviceable, hang around the house to help his aged mother to take care of his aged Father; though Esau was the oldest, because he only cared about his meaty desires, he sold his own birthright to Jacob over a bowl of red pottage, (Genesis 25);  and our Father favored  Jacob more than Esau, because Esau was self-centered; for, "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." (Romans 9:13);  therefore, let us please our Father by pleasing other people,  in all that we do; let us put him first as we serve and place other people needs first above our own needs and desires, our Father sees all things of the earth; he knows our frame of minds, reads contents of our innermost spirits, and repays us according to our attitudes and behaviors: it is written in book of Luke 6:38;  "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.";  therefore, let us deep into treasures of our hearts, give to the poor and needy, homeless, widows and widowers, strangers and orphanages, charities, goodwill, for all these kind gestures are not done in vain, we do them to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; you may say, I do not not want to deplete my treasures, brethren, believe the word of our Father; we will not lose anything, but rather gain more treasures and favors from our Father, his eyes will be upon our lives, and will delight himself in our souls, love us, and bless our children from generations to generations;  this are promises of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved,  if we give whole hardheartedly, invest in other people, we invest in our own lives, our Father makes the returns, he replenishes us with abundance of blessings, to repay for what was given away, so we continue to do his goodwill; for, it is written in book of Eccle. 11:1; "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.";  therefore, let us be encouraged to do goodwill, let our hearts show that we really love our Father as he loves us; that he gave his only begotten Son, to suffer, die on the cross to take away our iniquities, rose up again from the dead, to grant us salvation, grace and life everlasting;  what an amazing love of our Father;  therefore, let us also show same love to our fellow brothers and sisters, whether in difficult situations or not; for our Father is love in himself, and we cannot be parts of him, but without love for one another, we break the chains of love, when we see one another fall but does not feel their pains and sorrows to offer them the help needed to sustain lives; therefore, when we give out to goodwill, from treasures of our hearts, let us do so with agape love, not worry about what we might have given away; they are not completely lost, Jesus gives back those blessings in multiple portions, the very moment we give out, he replenishes right away; therefore, let us have faith in him, there shall be showers of blessings coming our ways very, very soon; and hereafter, in heavenly places forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  2 Corinthians 9:6-7;  But this I say,  He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
