DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  2 TIMOTHY 4:2-4

(2)  Preach the word;  be instant in season,  out of season;  reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
(3)  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
(4)  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

PREACHERS, PREACH ON!

Brethren, Apostle Paul entrusts believers to,  (i)  Preach the word; when the Holy Spirit descends upon believers, it comes to empower them to discharge their god-given duties and responsibilities in their callings, (Acts 1:8);  as preachers of the word, we are gifted to be oracles of our Father to his children; therefore, when we preach his words, we are to be bold and bravely relate what we hear him speak to his children regardless; we may or may not be aware but heaven holy fold listens to our preaching; therefore, before we mount pulpits, let us invite the presence of the Holy Spirit to take absolute control of our thought processes and utterances, that we might be accessible to be used mightily as his oracles to preach truthfulness of matters.

Case in point; as preachers, when we are not in spirits enough to preach words of our Father; the enemy takes control of our thought processes and we deviate from truthful words of our Father, tell stories that are not related to the scriptures or prophetic subject matters; when we do not spiritually prepare ourselves, the enemy will send devises to warfare against preachers, distract their thought processes and thought processes of worshipers, not to focus entirely to preach the gospel, and for worshipers not to assimilate words of our Father, and water down both preachers and worshipers as grass of the field, change their thought processes into flesh, make them lukewarm, sleepy, tired and unable to focus to assimilate words of our Father; and regardless of how prepared we may be, before we preach words of our Father, to any congregation whether large or small sittings; let us be ware that there are infiltration spirits among the assembly; for they are there, to distract our visions, interrupt our hearings and take away seeds of words from our hearts, (Job 1:6);  (ii)  be instant in season, out of season;  as believers, we are to make our callings first priorities over our own self interests, regardless of whether it is convenient or inconvenient to do our Father's will, there will be point and times in our lives, when we may have to move forward, out of our comfort zones to do his will elsewhere; it maybe in nations where we are currently or abroad where the Holy Spirit send us; therefore, we ought to be prepared to go all over the world and preach his words in truthfulness; (iii)  reprove; if we disapprove of some issues in this world of darkness, let us voice our concerns as followers of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, but do all things with humility and respect for others; (iv)  rebuke;  when we observed evil works of the enemy operating in the assemblies of our Father, let us reprove but with the sense of meekness, gentleness, sweetness, and kindness for the world to know that we mean well and are not to create confusions but to set things in proper perspectives for peacefulness of the world; (v)  exhort with all long suffering and doctrine;  let us encourage one another to walk in godliness, do things that are rightfully in the eyes of our Father, and in whatever we do, let us use the scriptures as our guidelines in the faith of his righteousness forevermore.

Brethren, Apostle Paul went on to say;  (a)  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;  unfortunately, we are already in those times;  everywhere nowadays, worshipers are no longer looking to hear the true words of our Father, but are looking for congregations where they can feel cozy and pampered like they are in movie theaters, operas, entertainment centers without buying tickets or paying gate fees;  they look for congregations with loud sounding cymbals but not to raise up their hands to praise our Father, but dance to their own fleshly enjoyments;  where have we erred? is time to make turns to worship our Father in spirit and in truth;  (b)   but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  therefore they look for preachers who will go along and pamper their earthly desires, tell them it is alright to go against words of our Father and still inherit eternal life;  believers, let us be careful, our Father is not to be mocked by his own children;  (c)  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.  Therefore, as preachers, let us not turn truthfulness of the scriptures upside downwards, preach our own interpretations to fulfill fleshly desires of congregations, but rather let us stand fast in the faith of the righteousness of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, preach on the truth for the sake of believer's and unbeliever's eternity and for the faithfulness of our callings; today, the question we need to ask ourselves is;  where are we going from here?;  unless we ask ourselves some few questions, we will not receive answers from the Holy Spirit who was given on the day of Pentecost by our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to teach us all things.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved,  at times, regardless of how we feel in our callings; when the Holy Spirit prompts us to speak his words, let us adhere to his voice; so long as our utterances are in the will of our Father and to his glory; for the gifts and calling of our Father are without repentance, (Romans 11:29); and all things work together for good to them that love our Father, are called according to his purposes; therefore, Preachers, preach on, the truthfulness of the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Titus 2:15  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority.  Let no man despise thee.
