DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ST. JOHN 8:12-14

(12)  Then spake Jesus again, unto them, saying,  I am the light of the world:  he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
(13)  The Pharisees therefore said unto him,  Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
(14)  Jesus answered and said unto them,  Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.

JESUS, THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

(12)  Then spake Jesus again, unto them, saying,  I am the light of the world:  he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.  Jesus, spoke of the knowledge of him to the multitudes on the mount of Olives; saying, (i)  "I am the light of the world":  Truly, Jesus is the light of the world, the Father is the origination of lights, Jesus Christ his Son, came out of the lights, was part of the origination of lights, manifested in the flesh on earth; (John 9:5);  therefore, Jesus is the light among the darkness of this world, though he no longer walk in flesh among humanity, he shines his lights on earth through resurrection power of the Holy Spirit; his followers are proclaiming words of lights, the gospel of truth, all over this world; (Acts 1:8);  (ii)  he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,  If Jesus is the light of this world, his believers, followers will also walk and dwell in light, not dwell among the darkness of this world. (1 Peter 2:9);  (iii)  but shall have the light of life.  When we receive Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior, believe in him and be baptized into the faith of his righteousness, we will have lights of life, no longer walk in darkness; for Christ called us out of darkness, the moment we repent of our sins, receive him into our hearts as Lord and Savior, we partake of his light, dwell in his light and walk as children of light, (Ephesians 5:8).

(13)  The Pharisees therefore said unto him,  Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
Brethren, in this world full of darkness, whatsoever Christian believers do to the glorification of the Father through Christ our Lord and Savior, there are always wolves in sheep clothing in the fold among the body of Christ;  plotted within the body by the enemy, to judge, criticize, frustrate true believers and followers from the faith of Christ righteousness. (Matthew 10:16);  Beware! (a) let us not judge ourselves instead of judging the world of its perverseness, rather encourage one another in the faith to bring along lost souls into salvation and eternity;  (b)  let us not criticize one another with words of jealousies, hatreds and condemnations rather with words of admonitions;  (c)  let us not back stab one another with evil connotations, thoughts, deeds; condemnation is from the devil, his demons not from Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; his words are of love and encouragements; (d)  let us not judge one another but live all judgments to the Father; for judgement day is at hand, when humanity will face the judgment; for, with whatever judgment ye judge one another ye will also receive the same judgment. (Matthew 7:2);  however, if we find ourselves in positions of judgement, let us not judge according to appearances but judge righteous judgement. (John 7:24)

(14)  Jesus answered and said unto them,  Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Brethren, during Christ's ministry on earth, his troubles and persecutions came from well able men, scholars, scribes, who thought they knew everything about creation, Law of Moses, doctrines of the Jews and are more learned in affairs of the Kingdom of the Father than his Son Jesus Christ, sent directly from the Father, to introduce Kingdom of Heaven unto humanity; therefore, they followed Jesus around to hear his teachings, not because they wanted to learn more knowledge from him, rather they followed him to find faults with his teachings, to bring judgement, condemnation, against him; believers are in similar situations these days; we no longer find faults with perverseness of this generation; but we spend hours and hours criticizing each other, we are in races to win souls for Christ; therefore, let us focus on our goals to preach the gospel in truth, entirely to sanctify hearts to repentance, to receive Christ, to walk in faith through his righteousness and life everlasting.  (2 Timothy 4:2).

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, whether the world believe in what we do for Christ or not, that's alright!  let us not focus on our critics to points where we fall away from reaching our potentials in our callings; rather let us press toward the marks for the prize of the high callings of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14);  for him alone, is the author and finisher of our races on earth; he will judge our works, be ye good or bad; we will give accounts on Day of Judgment;  let us focus on what is important, preach the gospel of truth to bring souls to repentance, salvation and eternity.  Amen and amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
