DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  I PETER 3:13-17

(13)  And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
(14)  But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: AND BE NOT AFRAID OF THEIR TERROR, NEITHER BE TROUBLED;
(15)  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
(16)  Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
(17)  For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

SUFFER FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE!

Brethren, as believers who walk in faith through the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; we are to fear no evil, for the Lord our God is with us to deliver us from all evil and if we suffer because of well doings, let us rejoice regardless of what seems to prevail against our souls and not worry about what enemies do but when wrong things happen to us, let us give glory to the LORD of hosts in our inner self knowing that he is aware of all situations rather let us seek wisdom to answer interrogations about our faith in him and be humble without feeling of terror; though enemies may express negative words, thoughts and concerns about us as wrong doers; the Lord is aware and will disgrace them for accusing us wrongly based on mistaken ideas which are not true because of our good behaviors in the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Case in point,  in the above text, Apostle Peter encourages us to be strong in the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; if we believe in him as Lord and Savior, then we have assurances that he will save us in all troubles;  (i)  And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?  if we walk in faith with right believing and well doings; Jesus will be pleased with us, and will fight against those who fight against us and no evil will prevail over our souls ever; for he will deliver us from all evil;  (ii)  But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: AND BE NOT AFRAID OF THEIR TERROR, NEITHER BE TROUBLED;  if we suffer because of who we are in the faith and what we do for glorification of the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, then we are not of ourselves any longer but we live our lives for him; therefore, let us not fear enemy threatens, curses and condemnations nor be conscious of their oppression; for Jesus will fight our battles and we will hold our peace.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Points to ponder, brethren, instead of troubling our states of minds about what enemies do wrongly to us spiritually or physically;  Peter says, (a) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear;  in our troubles, let us give glory to the LORD of hosts and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; seek divine helps to minister correctly to those who inquire about our faith and answer them with humbleness without frightening;  (b)  Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ:  let us be open minded with morally good behaviors; that when enemies slander, gossip and condemn our souls with disgraceful words of hatreds, we lose not hope in the faith of his righteousness but continue to do good and love our enemies as ourselves that we may emulate Christ in all that we do in his righteousness; let us continue to be godly still and not repay evil for evil but good for evil and be blameless children of the Most High God forevermore.

Fruits of thoughts,  dearly beloved, let us be encouraged to continue to do good; *For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.  if we experience pains and sufferings for obeying and doing the will of the LORD of hosts, it is alright! all followers of Jesus Christ has to suffer to strengthen their faiths in his righteousness; for we become more effective and useful believers when we experience and endure pains to do the will of the Father and inherit life everlasting than to follow after our own paths in life with wrong doings which will lead us into hell damnation.

CONCLUSION:

Brethren, today, (i)  let us examine our lives from January of this year until the present month of 2014, and take time to write down all our achievements and setbacks of this year;  (iii)  let us pray for wisdom and inspirations from the Holy Spirit to lighten our ways in the coming year, and to minister into our hearts strategies and improvements to walk in his righteousness to receive more of his blessings, and to seek his guidance and leadership throughout the year:  today, regardless of where we are in life; it does not matter to Jesus Christ; what matters is, if we hear his voice callings us to come unto him and we obey his voice and accept him as Lord and Savior; there are still more blessings awaiting for us in his righteousness; let us not second guess ourselves anymore thinking that we are not worthy to come unto him because of setbacks but rather focus on our expectations of year 2015 as a year of blessings, peace and life everlasting.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Proverbs 16:7  When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
