DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  2 CORINTHIANS 4:6-10

(6)  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(7)  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(8)  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9)  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Brethren, in the beginning the Father said, let there be light; and there was light. (Gen.1:3); today, lights dwells in our inner spirits to radiate from within our mortal bodies to overshadow darkness of this world, and to lead us into awareness of the truth regarding supremacy and holiness of the Father of all creation through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Case in point, let us carefully study the above text of today from verse seven;  (i) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. Lights are implanted miraculously into our spirits and mortal bodies by the Father of all creation; that his perfect abilities should manifest through our mortal bodies to do all things; therefore, we take no glory for his manifestations through our inner spirits and mortal bodies but give him all glory; for all things are done by him and not ourselves.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Points to ponder;  (a)  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  because of who we are as believers in the faith through the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we suffer for righteousness sake; when we find ourselves in troubles; let us rejoice, sing songs of praises to the Father not showing our pains and sufferings to our enemies, though we are unable to figure out what may be our predicaments, let us be still and wait for Jesus, trust and believe in him to prevail against all odds and set us free forevermore;  (b)  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;  today, believers may face all kinds of secular or social harassment because of who we are in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; let us not give up on our faith but trust in him; for he will never leave us alone in our trails; and if we feel left alone in our troubles or wrongfully incarcerated today, let us know that we are still existing in this world and there is hope of freedom in Jesus Christ, he will bring all things together for good for those who trust and believe in him; and at the end of our days on planet earth, we will have crown of glories and life everlasting.

Fruits of thought;  Apostle Paul encourages all believers in the faith of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior saying;  (10)  Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.  * Dearly beloved, let us be conscious of what has been given in our inner spirits by the Father of all creation through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit and not to forget how we were redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, that what we have received from his spirit may be recognized within our mortal bodies; and also be beneficial to others all over the world for glorification of the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Brethren, we are currently in the advent season, it is a season for praises, prayers and expectation of the lamb of God who took away the iniquities of this world; though he was on planet earth in the flesh many generations ago, he is still among us in the spirits and comes down every Christmas Eve on special assignment with more lights to shine into this world of darkness; to anoint, empower and glorify himself in the spirits of all those whose hearts are open to receive him; and it is also a season of expectation of his second coming, rapture and life everlasting;  let us not get Jesus Christ confused with Santa Claus of today; Jesus Christ, is the Son of the Father, in him are gifts eternal, salvation, grace and life everlasting;  he is on his way coming very, very soon!  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:  if any man hear my voice, and open the door,  I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
