DAILY BREAD OF LIF

(KJV.)  ST. JOHN 3:16-17

(16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD!

Brethren, the Father loves humanity very deeply, that he send his only beloved Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior into this sinful world, that if we believe in him and his words, we will not die eternal death but will have salvation and life everlasting.

Case in point, let us study carefully the above text of today, (16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  this verse contains five different detail information that entails in the whole sentence;  (i)  For God so loved the world,  that is, the Father has strong feelings and constant affections for entire universe, this is an example for humanity to also love one another as he first loved us;  (ii)  that he gave his only begotten Son, because of the Father's love and compassion for humanity, he gave his only beloved Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, to come into this world as the light to shine in this world of darkness, to introduce the kingdom of heaven unto humanity, to experience life on planet earth; to set humanity free from grids of iniquities; he was wrongfully accused and beaten, suffered, died on the cross of Calvary but rose up again from the death on the third day and to set all captives free forever;  (iii)  that whosoever believeth in him, that is if anyone receive Jesus Christ into their hearts as Lord and Savior and regard him as the true Son of God, and trust in him alone; (iv) should not perish,  they should not be destroyed in Hades damnation; (v) but have everlasting life.  But have salvation and be joint heirs with Jesus Christ in eternity.

Fruits of thought,  the mission statement of Jesus Christ is analyzed in the following verse, (17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  That is, (a) the Father did not sent his Son, Jesus Christ into this world to severely punish humanity, pronounce guilty or declare anyone as a failure;  (b)  but that the world through him might be saved. But, rather through his Son, humanity could know the ways of the Father, receive salvation and live in heavenly places with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, let us show love this season and enjoy one another's company; for we happen to be loved by the Father so much that we are given the grace to witness another celebration of the birth of his son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; who redeem our souls from bondage of sins into grace and life everlasting.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF DAY:
