DAILY BREAD OF L

(KJV.)  1 JOHN 4:18-21

(18)  There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
(19)  We love him, because he first loved us.
(20)  If a man say,  I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar:  for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen,  how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
(21)  And this commandment have we from him,  That he who loveth God love his brother also.

BE THOU PERFECT IN LOVE!

Brethren,  if we deeply love one another as the Father loves us all that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have eternity:  then we will not be afraid of anything on planet earth; for true love for one another will cast out any fear or terror from one another rather, we will freely interact and live peaceable with all men; what peacefulness we will have in this world forever.

Case in point, let us study carefully the following verses from today's text;  (i)  There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  * if we truly mean what we express from our mouths to others about how much we love them, our love will be sure without flawless;  * and if we possess accurate love for each other without second guessing ourselves if we truly meant what we say, then we will not be afraid to associate with others but live peaceably with all men;  * for who will hurt his own brother or sister that he truly and deeply love?  If we fear one another and continue to watch our backs wherever we go on planet earth, we have no perfect love for one another yet:  (ii)   We love him, because he first loved us.  Amazing Grace!  we love the Father, because of his love for humanity, * he made coats of skins to cloth Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, though they disobeyed his orders not to eat fruits of the tree of good and evil.(Gen. 3:5, 21)  * he first loved us that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to suffer, die on the cross and resurrect again from the grave to set humanity free from bondage of iniquities and today we enjoy grace freely and life everlasting.

WORDS OF INSPIRATION:

Points to ponder, today, John is saying;  * If a man say,  I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar:  for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen,  how can he love God whom he hath not seen?  this is a good question to ponder on; we know we love the Father, when we read his word and follow after his will; if we do all this but yet hold grudges, malice and dislike one another, we liar to ourselves and the truth is not in us; if we cannot truly love one another as we love ourselves, how can we truly love the Father of all creation, who sees the hearts of men?  let us ask ourselves, are our thanksgivings and offerings really acceptable to him, if we hate one another and love not ourselves?

Fruits of thoughts, * And this commandment have we from him,  That he who loveth God love his brother also.  Brethren, this is the will of the Father that if we claim to be his children and truly love him; then we should also love one another truly in thoughts and in actions:  it is that simple, we all know that at times it is difficult to let go of offenses but we have to, for that is the will of the Father and it is for our own good to purge our hearts of all filthiness; in lives journey, we will come across bad experiences from others so hurtful that it may be difficult on our parts to just let go of those offenses; dearly beloved, let us forgive our trespassers and move on with life: therefore, let us be encouraged to love one another and live peaceably with all men, if we truly love the Father of all creation and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Brethren,  at times when we reach out to others with love, we may feel rejected that is perfectly alright; what others do should not stop us from doing what we have to do to be right with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  for each and everyone of us will someday account for what we do during our journeys on planet earth; so let us continue to love one another still with or without reciprocals of love; for what we do to others are recorded against our records in heavenly places and what others do unto us are also recorded against their records whether good or bad gestures: today, Jesus Christ is saying, regardless of what is going on on planet earth, his love for humanity will never fail forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  1 John 2:10  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
