DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  I THESSALONIANS 4:13-17

(13)  But  I would not have you to be ignorant,  brethren,  concerning them which are asleep,  that ye sorrow not,  even as others which have no hope.
(14)  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,  even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
(15)  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,  that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
(16)  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
(17)  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren,  concerning those who pass away from physical into the spiritual realms, we do not want to feel sad and grieve as though there is no hope after death, but comfort others who mourn with words of wisdom that there is hope for those who die in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that his arms are opened in heavenly places to receive them forever.

Brethren, death is the same as fallen asleep;  for,  (i)  we die every night when we go to sleep, but wake up again in the morning by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;  let us thank Jesus, every morning for giving us awakening spirits to see another day;  (ii)  if we should sleep at night and not wake up the following morning;  the scripture says, we are not dead but sleeping and shall rise up again on judgment day and live with Jesus Christ forevermore;  (iii)  those who will be alive on the day of rapture shall not hinder those sleeping in death, they that died in the Lord shall rise first;  why, my opinion is, because they already transitioned from physical to spiritual realm but are waiting for that faithful day to proceed together with the living into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, forevermore.

Case in point,  when we die or sleep in death, our souls are not completely lost or gone with the wind, but are with the Lord;  others might think otherwise but that is alright;  the point is, we have to receive Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior, confess our sins, and believe in him;  for our salvation is sure if we believe in him;  it does not matter what happens to our souls when we sleep in death, what matters is where we are going when we transition from this sinful world?  let us think about this question,  it is not too late to do something about our salvation, tomorrow might be too late and we transition to the unknown;  but know for sure, that Jesus will be waiting to receive us somewhere at the end of our days on earth;  therefore, let us not lose hope, but walk in obedience to his word, and trust in him:  for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, (Romans 6:23):

Brethren,  there is nothing to fear about death,  if we believe that Jesus died and rose again to pay the price for our souls, the same way we shall also rise again from the graveyards on the day of rapture;  therefore, let us live godly lives, love and care for one another, and worship the LORD, in the beauty of his holiness:  for, whether we sleep in death, or  alive on the day of rapture, all eyes shall behold Jesus Christ, coming down in his glory to receive us into heavenly places forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Revelation 1:8  I am Alpha and O-meg-a,  the beginning and the ending,  saith the Lord,  which is,  and  which was,  and which is to come,  the Almighty.
