DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ECCLESIASTES 10:4

(4)  If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee,  leave not thy place;  for yielding pacifieth great offences.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren,  there are times in our lives when adversaries will rise up against us with anger and unpleasant attitudes, and will persecute us with no apparent reasons;  they will warfare us in the spirit, at our workplaces, churches, and friends/family circles:  let us not pacify them by giving up our commitments, but continue to persevere in right doings, and perform our duties and responsibilities diligently with humility, and respect to authorities;  let us make our concerns known to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through prayers and supplications;  for he will place all things in proper perspectives and grant us everlasting peace, if we trust in him.

Brethren, when spirits of rulers rise up against us, we might ask ourselves, what are we doing wrong?  but   sometimes the cause is, what we do right;  maybe,  (a)  we are righteous and will not do evil;  (b)  they are envious of our outstanding performances;  (c)  they see our potentials, that we shall excel beyond our boundaries by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ;  (d)  and because we are children of light, and they are still in enemy bondage:  these are some of the reasons why we face persecutions from rulers;  however, if we should ask why our predicaments;  surprisingly, most of their reasons are nonentities and are not aware of their evil actions;  because, spirits of evil rulers are upon their lives.

Case in point,  a spirit of evil rulers rested on  (i)  Pharaoh, who displayed his terror upon Israel in the land of Egypt until he perished in the Red Sea, (Exodus 5 through 14);   (ii)  King Saul, who persecuted King David, for several years before his death, (I Samuel 19-25);   (iii)  Saul of Tarsus, persecuted and killed disciples of Jesus Christ, until he was converted into Apostles Paul of the new testament, (Acts 9):   however, as believers of Jesus Christ, when we face negative situations;  let us not confront our elders, but  use wisdom, prayers, supplications, thanksgivings and patience to plead our cases before the LORD of hosts, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and wait for his deliverance;  for, if the Son therefore shall make us free, we shall be free indeed forever.

Brethren,  are any rulers attacking us today?  we have a redeemer, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who paid the price to redeemed our souls from all persecutions;  we just have to call upon his Holy Name through his blood, and continue to do right in the eyes of the LORD of hosts;  for in due time, we shall receive peace forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Romans 16:20  And the God of peace shall bruise  Satan  under your feet shortly.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.  Amen.
