(KJV) 2 TIMOTHY 2:15-16
(15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
(16) But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:
Brethren, we need to study the word of God, so we can be approved of the Father as soul winners; and workers who need not be ashamed of what we preach in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ:
let us have clear conscience and preach the truth; and avoid unnecessary repetitions which might confuse our listeners and hinder them from hearing the voice of God: we want our listeners to gain the seed which is the word, and be fruitful; not doze off or turn deaf ears on the word of God; therefore, let us preach the word and avoid fables: also, Christ commissioned us all to be his disciples on the day we received him as our Lord and Saviour: (Mark 16:15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Brethren, let us focus on saving souls with true word of God; and not fables; and if we lack wisdom; (James 1:5) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him.
Jesus, our Saviour will grant us wisdom, knowledge and understanding to do his will forever and evermore! Amen and Amen!
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
KJV (1 Timothy 4:7): But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
